This is an old video now, Dylan Bowman and (the Ginger Runner) Ethan Newbury’s video of running a Fastest Known Time (FKT) along a dangerous tidal piece of Californian coastline in 2018.

Now, this isn’t my kind of challenge. Except that it is. My version of this mindset is what has always driven me to attempt the things, usually runs, I don’t think I can finish. The ones that show me things I wouldn’t normally see, in the landscape, and in myself.

Newbury’s cinematography in this short video also captures the beautifully wild nature of this route, which just calls to me.
